Founded by Paula Farrajota, FARRAJOTA Sociedade de Advogados reaches maturity through the union of two solid and complementary careers, with the arrival of Patrícia do Amaral Gurgel to join the team, bringing more than two decades of legal experience. The firm is driven by the purpose of offering strategic, specialized, and close client-focused legal services.
Initially focused on foreign investors and highly complex corporate matters, it later expanded its practice to areas such as civil litigation, labor law, and estate and succession planning, always with active listening and an emphasis on long-term relationships. Today, with a clear market positioning and high value-added performance, it has established itself as a boutique law firm that delivers what matters most: security, support, and solutions.
Partner and managing partner of FARRAJOTA Sociedade de Advogados since 2005, with more than 25 years of experience in the legal field, particularly advising foreign investors, with a broad and integrated view of the various areas of law involved in meeting clients’ needs. Expertise in business law, corporate law, contracts, and civil, labor, and social security litigation. Admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo Section (OAB/SP) under no. 173.469.
Holds a degree in Economics from FEAUSP (1994) and a Law degree from FDUSP (1999). Postgraduate specialization in Corporate Governance and Third Sector Management from Mackenzie University. Enrolled in the Artificial Intelligence Program for C-Levels, CEOs, Board Members, and Shareholders, Class 08, at Exame Saint Paul.
Native Portuguese. Advanced English and Spanish. Fluent French and Italian.
Associate attorney since 2021, with more than 30 years of practice in business law advising Brazilian and foreign companies from a wide range of sectors, with an emphasis on the chemical & pharmaceutical, services, engineering, asset management & family office sectors, consortia, corporate reorganizations, mergers, spin-offs, acquisitions, due diligence, foreign investments and loans, profit remittance and capital repatriation, representation of foreign partners/shareholders in meetings, compliance, and succession planning (involving family law and real estate law). Admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo Section (OAB/SP) under no. 147.297. Generalist, with experience in several areas of law and in multiple jurisdictions.
Graduated from PUC-SP (1993); Specialization in Business Law from PUC-SP COGEAE (1997); LL.M. in Corporate Law and Practice from CEU Law School (2019).

Currently pursuing a specialization in Civil Procedure Law at Damásio Educacional. Joined the firm as an intern in 2024 and became a partner in 2025. Practices in civil and labor litigation.
Social security law legal assistant with more than 35 years of experience, having served as a Social Security and Federal Revenue Tax Auditor until 2003. Provides support to attorneys in social security matters involving retirement, analysis of contribution history, CNIS review, social security planning, and matters related to both the General Regime (INSS) and Special Regime (RPPS).
Holds a degree in Business Administration from Faculdade Santana (1982).
Administrative and Financial Assistant since 2024. Graduated in Financial Management Technology in 2012 from Universidade Paulista.
